Together we all celebrated Steve Irwin Day at Fort Dorchester Elementary School in Summerville and enjoyed Roark Ferguson and his many friends....snakes, alligators, tortoises, tarantula...and more! http://www.roarkferguson.com/ ....... Alison held her first snake! .....a moment to remember!
We also attended a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert! How cool was that! The music, lights, the special effects ....what a great experience! I bet you are still "rockin' to the CD!
We had a wonderful time visiting the SC Aquarium, Middleton Plantation, Waterfront Park, The Battery, Angel Oak, and more! We also had a fun night at the Festival of Lights....even saw deer grazing as we entered the park! Another unforgettable experience...Barrier Island Eco tour http://www.nature-tours.com ) excursion to Capers Island! What an adventure! We enjoyed Emma the dog, on the lookout for dolphins! She really could spot them! We were dropped off at Capers Island and were able to explore the island! It was here that Alison had an up-close look at her first alligator in its natural habitat!
We were glad to celebrate your birthday with you....I know you will remember the birthday dance at Yokoso!...drums and all! The 10 days were busy and full of fun...and there is still so much to do! One more thing....maybe next time, instead of sitting in the back seat of the police cruiser...you can do a ride along during a real work shift! Talk about an experience!
Thanks Alison for traveling so far to spend this time with us! We will forever remember this wonderful time and hold it near and dear to our hearts!
